Story #7 “ThankYous”

I see me, I know me. I see you, I don’t know you. 

To be fair, you don’t fully know yourself yet. You can’t discern what to know, and what not to. Each day we will try to figure out. You are on the lifelong quest of self actualization. I am not your captain…not a soul should be. You are the controls. I shall only be but the stoker to your boiler.

I see me, I know me. I see you, I see me. 

You are your own being, but you are also me. I feel, but nothing matters. You feel, and I will try all, in order to make it right. I will make the world halt for your needs. I feel, but remain quiet. You feel, and the world shakes. 

I see me, I need me. I see you, you need me. 

I have no needs at all anymore. Every moment of your life is a need. I have no needs but yours. Your needs become my needs. My needs are only your needs. 

I see me, I am recognized. I see you, more and more, you are recognized. You see you, ahha! You have found a being. You see me, recognition has come into the presence. 

I am your hands, I am your feet, I am your voice. You see you, in me; I see me, in you. I see me in your laugh, in your curiosity, in your humor. I see me in your love, in your calm, in your play. There is so much I know about you, but so much more I want to know. You are a mystery to me, yet somehow I am the one that knows you best.
